WHAT is an ESA?
ESA….Extended Service Agreement is an annual, pre-scheduled, tune-up and cleaning of heating and/or air conditioning equipment offered by Alternative HVAC Solutions of Menlo Park California.

ESAs provide:
All labor and cleaning products required for indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment including humidifiers and electronic air cleaners attached to the HVAC equipment
Furnace
- Clean and lubricate your equipment
- Check motor amperages
- Inspect Pressure Switches
- Check safety controls and starting components
- Check thermocouple/igniters
- Tighten wiring connections
- Inspect & check condensate drain on high-efficiency furnaces
- Replace filters
- Inspect heat exchanger
- Check for gas leaks
- Visual inspection of ductwork
- Inspect the flue for blockage
- Measure manifold pressure
- Adjust fan belt
- Check and calibrate the thermostat
Air Conditioner/Heat Pump
- Check and clean the outdoor condenser coil
- Check and clean the indoor evaporative coil
- Check motor voltage and amperage
- Check blower capacitor & components
- Check and clean condensate drain
- Check operating pressure by checking temperature delta (18-22 degrees) for proper refrigerant charge
- Check all safety controls
- Change filters
- Calibrate thermostat
- Check starting components
- Check amp draw on outdoor condenser fan, contacts, relays and wiring connections
